Tamsin and Dave wedding is one of my favourite weddings from 2015 and I was so pleased to see it featured on Rock My Wedding this year. The whole blog piece can be viewed here but here are some of my favourite pictures from the wedding captured so beautifully by the super talented Razia Jukes Photography.
Doing flowers for a wedding at Kew Gardens is no mean feat as you have to consider what is going on in the garden as much as the venue. Luckily Tasmin wanted to keep the flowers fresh and spring like with lots of white peonies (thank god it was May) and roses. She didn’t want anything too structured so we both agreed soft grey foliage would soften the look and perfectly compliment the white flowers and the bridesmaids’ dresses.
For the tables the couple wanted to combine their love of books and photography and keep the flowers simple and pretty. Tamsin bought loads of penguin classics and old cameras from ebay and before the wedding I went round to her house with some sample flowers in small vases so we could work how we wanted the tables to look and get them exactly how Tamsin had envisaged.
On the day I incorporated herbs and sweet peas in to the flowers along with the peonies and roses so the room smelt gorgeous and bought the outside garden inside. I was so pleased with how subtle the flowers were against the epic setting that is Kew Gardens.
